i've never seen one like that before, but all westones I saw that had only the bird on the headstock without "westone" written on it were as far as I know korean-made...
could it perhaps be a challenger?...

Thanx! The guy, who is selling this says, it's Japan, 1982 with original Floyd Rose tremolo, and all original parts. I was searching eBay for similar guitars and for example the Spectrum is possible to buy for 350,- EUR (approx. 490,- USD) in Germany.

I saw one of these at Shiloh Music in Mt. Juliet, TN about 5-6 years ago. The price was $300 which I thought was a little high.
It's like a regular strat body and it had a licensed Floyd.
I believe that these were made in Korea in the mid nineties - after the proprietary Westone body styles were out of production.
It was a nice enough guitar but not worth more than $150 or so, IMHO.
