X120 Spectrum I? Special? Basic? nope --->Pantera (sort of)

Post  Barry on Sat Oct 10, 2009 2:42 am

Here's an odd one, to me at least.
Looks to be one of the above models (pick a name)...BUT it has volume control only, no tone. No mention made of this configuration on the .INFO site.
Even the seller has no clue: "Westone Electric Guitar".

I dunno; if I had to make a call, it would be non-Matt, simply because of that trem... still, if the price were right I'd be in like a big hairy dog!

So MIK from Mats parts ya reckon?
I'm puzzled by that oversized cover plate for just one pot!? Looks like it was routed for 2 but the tone pot wasn't installed. Made do with what was available methinks. Neutral

Yer right Warrn, it is a Pantera...sort of.
Still not quite to 'spec' though. Looks to be a hybrid Franken-Westie cobbled together as mentioned above??

(He's very good for a bass guy, isn't he? rabbit )

It definitely just looks like an X250 with only a single knob and the Pantera logo rubbed off. The pickup and string locks aren't original either.
