We really need to shut up about Westone now...
The inmates are running wild and it is infecting the general population now...

While I will grant you that this model is not seen so much lately,COME ON, NOW!! It is beginning to border on the light fantastic for some.
A painfully obvious attempt to cash in. Just sad...

I know. I'd contacted the seller to politely educate them. If they honestly wanted to sell it they needed some guidance. Perhaps the Pantera's on Ebay lately have influenced the extremely high pricing? The public doesn't know that Pantera 390's and 350's are quite a different pricing story than any other Westone, with a few exceptions including Prestige 250's and the like.

He's a good guy, he owns Electras and Westones and knows the quality of the guitars. He's dropped it to $950 and says that if it doesn't sell for that, he'll just keep it. Can't blame the man. Beautiful guitar, tip top condition to boot.
I invited him to our forum.

Nice gesture Chad, very cool of you. However, that price is still pretty FRIGGIN HIGH ! You could buy the finest of Westies for that much, except maybe the X390-350's. Very unreasonable IMHO, lets keep it real.

I agree he's a bit high, but really, when was the last time a Gen II crossed our path? I've got one and Steve777 has one...who else?? There's more X350s out there at the moment!

Seems to me when I have caught wind of one it is always over on your side of the pond John. Was it a model that was more frequently imported into Europe or something?

Re: We really need to shut up about Westone now...
That's about what I paid for mine 5 years ago in New Zealand, and is probably a very good buy at that... Well done! Show us?!
I don't know, Ice; mine was bought down under, gittarsaurus is in the US and Steve is in the UK....
I do recall seeing a comment by TP saying that he liked the Genesis a lot... I do know I like mine and it was my first Westone!

...that's it in the top right hand corner.

I believe Tom's comments came up in my post on the UBC in my first xa1530 that Damian has so gallantly repaired for me. He did call them a limited run model whatever that means in his book, which is the book that counts the most concerning Westone, in my book.

ooops, the other right hand corner.

John's Genesis has had me befuddled for some time now. It is a one-off IMHO.
