another misplaced usage of the Westone name perhaps...

I am not as familiar as I probably should be on these things, but I cannot remember seeing a stock Westone humbucker with 2 adjustment screws on one side, at least a "vintage"one.
....anyone?.... anyone?.... Bueller?.... Bueller?....
Another one I've sent a request for additional information off to this evening.

Yeah; some of the early post Matt guitars do; my Spectrum II SP1012 has that set up...

I had an old Spectrum DX and pulled the pickups out of them and threw them in a box as I am pretty sure they are not the original ones - but having read the post above now not quite so sure ?

Nope; that don't look right at all - they should be MMK45's and marked as such on the bottom plate. I wonder what the deal is with the screws underneath there??

Those screws are similar to the humbucker I replaced in my wife's Genesis I, except they have green locking matrix goobed all over them to resist being loosened or removed...

The backing plate on mine is solid material, but the same 4 screws exsist. This wouldn't be one of those "bad" UBC's now, would it?

The screws hold the bobbins to the base plate. Just like MMK's and tons of other manufacturers.
