Bids went up to £222.89 but the reserve wasn't met... it's now been re-listed Here with a starting bid of £375.00

Yeah well, bowenjaybe, I asked if the design was under the lacquer or on top, he came back with “The decoration is over the lacquer, we think” he also said “Obviously its not new but its been played and much loved” That being the case I doubt the design is original, as with its facility the factory would almost certainly lacquered over it & if not the right forearm should have worn part of it off after all this time. Wonder how much more than £400.00 he expects to get for it

Those particular Rainbow models are not worth the starting price they're asking, in my opinion.
Just another 355 clone.
The swiftlock tailpiece models, even being a clone have their own originality ie. When they break you can't get a new one.
The woods on the later type also is birdseye maple, much nicer than the ash.

The Rainbow has appeared again and he mentions these forums
. Personally I can't see those flowers as a selling point and I would prefer it if they weren't there.
