Same guy has a Raider I in gold/black sparkle on the 'bay as well... no GAS tokens left... must resist... wife will emasculate me if I even bid...

There was one of those locally on craigslist a couple of years ago for less than $100 and i missed it Mad Still kickin myself for it. I did the carved body.

It's a weird thing, that step - I can see it being "sort-of" handy on the Super headless bass if you're a-slappin' and a-popping, but on a guitar?!?! It does lend the instrument an air of "odd" though.... Very Happy

True, true. I thought it was pretty strange at first glance (years ago), but i think its super cool now. Different for sure, maybe i like it because its unique. I've never played one though, but i imagine it wouldn't effect your playing.

I remember reading somewhere online that the step was intended to make slap techniques easier on the bass guitar and it allows for "improved" sweep picking with the guitar.

Suspiciously sounding like the an overindulgent marketing department ploy to me.

The color and grain is what catches my eye. Still not the mind blowing look of someones x350ma, but, oh well........ Wink
