Can we get a sticky?

Post  AngelPDX on Fri Oct 01, 2010 4:42 pm

These folks http://www.westone.info/spares/index.html#trem seem to be trying to supply parts. I haven't bought fromt hem yet, but I'm about to. I need a whammy bar for my Japanese Corsair and who knows what else once I open it up.

There's a guy round these parts, known as Thorn. It is his site. This man KNOWS his Westones. If he sells what you need, I recommend you buy!

I forgot, I don't think Thorn is trying, I think he is being successful!

Thorn is the resident acknowledged Westone guru on these forums, and I can assure you his reproduction parts (when they are available) are top quality and correct! www.westone.info is his web site Wink

Guess again - I'm more of a non-resident pop in from time to time not-guru. I'm just someone who knows a fair bit about Westones, probably doesn't know a lot more and sometimes thinks he knows some things but gets it wrong.

I definitely don't want to be considered as a Westone Guru - I've often found that people in positions like that (Presumed or self-appointed 'experts') don't get to hear opinions that differ from their own. I don't want that at all, I want to hear other opinions, it's often the best way to learn new stuff, or find out where you're going wrong.
