Hocus Pocus
I was wandering through YouTube and came upon this video of the Dutch Band called Focus from the 70's. For all those of you who are old enough to remember this band, this is one hell of a performance of there cult hit Hocus Pocus...

You don't have to be old to know these guys. =)
The singer can certainly hit those high notes.

Re: Hocus Pocus
The band name didn't register at all, but as soon as I heard the song it all came rushing back! This thing was all over the FM airwaves back in the day.
The singer/keyboardist is friggin' amazing. Brilliant song!
p.s. Is that a very young Gladys Knight doing the intro??
Really miss the Midnight Special. Great show.

Re: Hocus Pocus
Oh, please.... you fellas find Focus new and exciting?! Thijs van Leer and Jan Akkerman have been favourites of mine for years - I've even tried covering Hocus pocus, but it's a bit of a losing battle; the chords are fine but where he goes in the verses is still a mystery!! Sylvia is a little easier to cover and I have the tabs here if anyones keen... and for Hocus Pocus, too.. allowing for 20+ years of dodgy memory...
Golden Earring, too, if anyone's interested in Dutch r'n'r....

If you have Guitar Pro the whole song is tabbed out, including the yoodling.
