WTB: westone bass neck (for a spectrum ST, will concider any neck)
as per title, my spectrum ST has been sitting unloved and neckless too long, willing to concider any neck that would fit; must be willing to ship to Australia but im happy to show ebay/other reputation if required.
any condition, needs to have some fret life though, fretless concidered also.

There was one just on eBay but I can't find it now.... keep looking; they seem to turn up quite regularly!! In the meantime you could get an aftermarket neck just to keep you in the game, as it were!!!

You may want to ask the guys at the Electra forums.

That's likely your best match outside of a "Westone" branded neck, or you might also try over at the Matsumoku Forum. Perhaps an Aria Pro II or Vantage neck might work??Warrn wrote:You may want to ask the guys at the Electra forums.

Just make sure the neck you get has the proper number of frets. I have an Electra Phoenix bass (the early version of the Spectrum) and a Spectrum GT bass and although the necks feel about the same, they are not interchangeable because the Phoenix only has 20 frets where the Spectrum has 22, and the bridges are placed differently to keep the correct scale.
