Too right they are rare, I had to replace the whole bridge because of one odd saddle being on the original when I bought it. You can't even get one made perfectly identical for anywhere near £10 and I would have paid double that to keep my original bridge, if I could have found one that is. I've sold two already, one to Canada and one to Coventry, England. Only three more left, get them while you can.

Ooh Nasty. Sorry but, I had 5 originally and now I only have 2 left. I only needed one, but that was impossible to get, or rather I should say that I wasn't prepared to hold my breath on finding one. So I did a bit of research and discovered that the original bridge is a Gotoh GTC101 (as listed on Gotoh's site). This bridge and also a set of 6 saddles (listed as S11) off the same. are obtainable from a supplier in Japan. Unfortunately, the cost of the GTC101 bridge was about $100, plus shipping, plus import tax and to just buy the 6 saddles was $70 plus the extras I have mentioned. So I opted for the GTC102 which is the identical bridge but made from steel covered in gold, which is available from a seller on eBay uk.....

As the orginal Brass model comes covered in Gold, the steel version doesn't really look much different while the gold lasts. Either way, they will equal each other in performance. Take a look at mine below....

Hey Martin, that bridge looks identical to the one I purchased from eBay, and for exactly the same guitar! (Gotta get rid of the barrel saddled original!)

Hi Barry,

The mounting screw holes on this one are in the right place if you are replacing the identical bridge. I did notice on the one you showed me that you bought, that although the bridge looks identical the mounting screw holes were in a slightly different position. This of course won't matter to you as yours is the earlier bridge with it mounting holes in a different place anyway.
