1984 Quantum X850 Bass (UK)

Westone Quantum X850 Bass - £10.50 Current Bid.

I know nothing about these but it seems to be all there. The serial number (84009) is only five digits long, unlike the more usual seven digit system used by Westone, any ideas?

It's normal, the headless ones only had 5 (84009, all of them) or 6 digit serials.
